Prof. John-Dylan Haynes to deliver lecture as part of the project ‘Great Questions in Krakow’

20.11.2018

Professor John-Dylan Haynes, director of the Berlin Center for Advanced Neuroimaging, will deliver an open lecture on free brain imaging on November 22. The event is part of a joint project of the Center for Copernicus of Interdisciplinary Studies, the Jagiellonian University and the city of Krakow entitled “Great Questions in Krakow”.

This time the listeners will learn the answers to the questions: What effect do our cognitive processes have on free will? How does the brain code our experiences and thoughts? Can neuro-scans illustrate brain activities such as decision making, remembering or imagining? Does modern science allow us to predict what decisions we will make?

The lecture will be delivered on November 22, 2018 at 18.30 at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, ul. Krupnicza 33a in Krakow.
