Professor Kacprzyk to be a member of the oldest scientific society in Finland

Professor Eng. Janusz Kacprzyk from the University of Applied Computer Science and Management in Warsaw, was elected a foreign member of the oldest Finnish Academy of Corporate Science – Finnish Society of Sciences (Societas Scientiarum Fennica).

Professor Kacprzyk is the only Pole among the 124 foreign members of The Finnish Society of Sciences (Societas Scientiarum Fennica). It is the oldest Finnish scientific society, founded in 1838.

The main interests of Professor Kacprzyk in scientific activity are: fuzzy logic and its application in databases, decision support systems, fuzzy methods of representation and information processing, control and decision making in conditions of uncertainty and lack of precision, evolutionary programming and neural networks.
