Projects of students of the AGH University of Science and Technology reach the final of the KoKoS 2020 competition

Six student projects from the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Krakow reached the finals of the nationwide Competition for Student Construction KoKoS 2020. In the last stage of the competition, the finalists will present projects submitted online to the competition committee. Winners in each category will be announced on May 30.

AGH informs that one of the final projects of the Smart Robots category is the Kalman autonomous planetary rover constructed by the AGH Space Systems. The task of the mobile robot is to support future astronauts while performing work in extraterrestrial bases and colonies.

AGH Racing with its RTE 2.0 electric car “LEM” and AGH Space Systems with its PROtotype, a low-level hybrid rocket sounding rocket that can rise to a height of about 3 km, will compete in the Vehicle category.

AGH Solar Boat and AGH Solar Plane are finalists in the Life Upgrade category. They will present ecological, zero-emission projects using solar energy that contribute to reducing emissions of harmful substances into the environment.
