Projects of the University of Gdańsk ranked high in the list of the Miniatura 2 call

Scholars of the University of Gdańsk are winners of the Miniatura 2 call organized by the National Science Center. They can get grants for preliminary and pilot studies, queries, internships, scientific consultations and conference trips.

Dr Małgorzata Kapusta will carry out the project: “An attempt to identify motor proteins involved in the transport of the male reproductive unit in the May lily”, Dr Przemysław Karpowicz’s grant allow to run the project: “Development of a model for affinity testing of platelet-derived growth factor PDGF-BB with its receptors”, and Dr Agata Błaszczyk received financing for her project “Research on the mechanism of antifungal activity of compounds produced by Baltic cyanobacteria – search for inhibitors of aspartyl proteases Sap”.

This is the last ranking list of the competition. 17 research projects were funded for a total amount of almost 560,000 PLN and they will be implemented at the Gdańsk University.
