The University of Bialystok has started recruitment for the Student Rescue Service. Students – volunteers who would like to help the pupils of sociotherapeutic day care centers with their homework, can apply until October 26.

– In this semester, we would like to support 12 socio-therapeutic day care centers in Bialystok, Supraśl, Sokółka and Kuźnica Białostocka, as well as a family orphanages. Work for children is an opportunity to gain invaluable experiences, strengthen interpersonal competences in contact with other people.

The Student Rescue Service started in spring 2013. So far, several hundred students have been involved in the volunteering, mainly from the University of Bialystok.
