Researcher of the Medical University of Gdańsk awarded in Slovakia

Dr Eng Magdalena Buszewska-Forajta, scientist of the Department of Biopharmacy and Pharmacodynamics of the Medical University of Gdańsk, was awarded for the best oral presentation delivered during the 24th Intensive Symposium on Separation Sciences and 21st International Conference Analytical Methods and Human Health.

The symposium and conference took place in Jasna, Slovakia. The winning work “Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) or fresh tissue? Which matrix is more suitable for metabolomics?” is implemented as part of cooperation with the Department of Pathology and Neuropathology, under the direction of Prof. Ewa Iżycka-Świeszewska. The presentation is part of the project implemented thanks to the grant obtained from the National Science Center as part of the Sonata competition.
