Researcher of the Poznań University of Economics wins a Bekker scholarship

Dr Beata Woźniak-Jechorek, Prof. of University of Economics in Poznań received a scholarship of the Bekker program with for a one-year stay at Northwestern University. The program is organized by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.

The winner will implement the project “The Changing Labor Market Institutions in the Age of Industry 4.0” in the United States. The main goal of the research is to identify paths of institutional changes on the US labor market in the conditions of Industry 4.0. The study will include an analysis of the effectiveness of implementing the proposed reforms of adapting the labor market to the challenges of Industry 4.0 and identifying the reasons for their limited implementation.

The purpose of the Bekker program is to increase the international mobility of Polish scientists and academic teachers by enabling them to realize a post-doctoral internship, conduct scientific research or obtain materials for scientific work in prestigious foreign centers.
