Dr Marcin Flotyński from the Department of Monetary Policy and Financial Markets of the University of Economics in Poznań received the Award of the President of the Management Board of the Bank Guarantee Fund for the best doctoral thesis.

The jury emphasized the high level of the laureate’s dissertation “The impact of macro-prudential regulation of long-term liquidity on the stability of commercial banks in Poland”.

The aim of the competition was to select the best doctoral dissertations in the field of deposit guarantee schemes, restructuring, orderly liquidation of financial institutions, regulatory infrastructure of the financial system, issues related to financial security of banks and financial stability.
