07.08.2019

Dr Kamil Kaźmierski from the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics of the University of Life Sciences in Wroclaw became a scholarship holder of the Start Program of the Foundation for Polish Science, which supports the most talented young scientists.

– The main subject of my work is to increase the accuracy of positioning using global satellite navigation systems (Global Navigation Satellite Systems, GNSS). I focus on real-time positioning using the PPP (Precise Point Positioning) technique. Over the past few years, I have been refining the positioning method using satellite observations from all global navigation systems: US GPS, European Galileo, Russian GLONASS and Chinese BeiDou – says Dr Kamil Kaźmierski.

The Start Program is the largest scholarship program in Poland for the best researchers before age of 30 representing all fields of science. This year, for the 27th time, the Foundation chose 100 winners.
