The project will be implemented under the Municipal Support Program for Higher Education and Science Partnership and the Economic Activity Sector “Mozart”.

Scientist and veterinarians will develop and implement perioperative care procedures for pets. – We want the developed procedures that can be used in every animal treatment facility by veterinarians and auxiliary staff and also at home, by pets carers – says Dr Bierowiec.

The development and implementation of procedures will reduce wound infections, shorten recovery time, reduce costs and a potential epidemiological threat.
