Researchers at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań to research the Indian film industry

University researchers of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań have won the EqUIP (EU-India Platform for Social Sciences and Humanities) competition for international research projects in the humanities and social sciences implemented in cooperation with India.

Professor Krzysztof Stachowiak and Dr Marcin Adamczak will research the relationship between space and spot in the film and the role that the film industry plays in creating cultural and economic ties between India and Europe. Researchers will analyze the locations in which Indian films are produced, and the social and economic impact of the Indian film industry on these locations.

The research consortium includes: University of Basel (Switzerland), Novia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Research Center of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Slovenia), Jawaharlal NehruUniversity (India).
