Rzeszów University of Technology receives new plane for training pilot students

The Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodship gave the Rzeszów University of Aeronautical Education a subsidy of PLN 350,000 for the modernization of the didactic and scientific base. According to the Rzeszów University, the support will be allocated to the purchase of a new plane for the training of pilot students.

The plans of the Air Training Center include the purchase of the “Piper” PA – 28 Arrow airplane, which will be intended for professional training of pilots. It would be the third plane of this type in the fleet of the center. At the moment it consists of: seven “Tampico” TB – 9, two “Piper” PA – 28 Arrow, three “Piper” PA – 34 Seneca V, five “Liberty” XL-2 and one ZLIN – 242L.

Rzeszów University of Technology is currently educating 112 pilot students. Most of them after leaving school immediately find a job in the airlines.
