Satellite of students of Warsaw University of Technology ready to take off

PW-Sat2 satellite constructed by members of the Student Astronautical Circle of Warsaw University of Technology has been fully integrated, tested and prepared for launch. It has just been connected to the QuadPack, – a container in which the satellite will be located during the launch of the rocket.

Successful connection with QuadPack took place on July 26, 2018 at the headquarters of Innovative Space Logistics in Delft, the Netherlands. In autumn, the container will be transported to the United States, where it will be placed in the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

PW-Sat2 will be raised on board the Falcon 9 rocket along with SSO-A mission from the Vandenberg base in California. According to the latest data, along with PW-Sat2, more than 70 other satellites will be carried into space.
