12.03.2020

Created by scientists from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, an intelligent stethoscope of StethoMe Ltd won the main prize in the “Polish Product of the Future” competition.

StethoMe is an electronic stethoscope integrated with a thermometer, with no lyre (the top of the cord, ending with headphones). It allows doctors to detect irregularities that occur in the course of infection, pneumonia or asthma. It works through the mobile application, thanks to which the patients can quickly perform auscultatory examination of their lungs and heart themselves and send the results to the doctor.

The device created by Dr Honorata Hafke-Dys and Prof. Jędrzej Kociński, in cooperation with the software development company, was awarded in the “Product of the future of the entrepreneur” category. The organizers of the competition for the Polish product of the future are the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the National Center for Research and Development.
