Researchers from the University of Silesia have developed a new loudspeaker for study rooms. Their invention- a set of speakers occupying a small space and at the same time ensuring very good sound quality has been protected by the European Patent Office.

Dr Eng Robert Koprowski and Prof. Eng. Zygmunt Wróbel, scientists from the Faculty of Computer Science and Materials Science, University of Silesia, constructed an innovative loudspeaker, in which empty waveguides and chambers were used and thus the processing range was increased. This guarantees that the music is played with a satisfying quality, and users will be able to receive a high-quality set that takes up less space than constructions currantly available on the market.
