Six Polish teams in the final of the Martian rovers competition in University Rover Challenge 2018

Teams: University of Warsaw Rover Team from the University of Warsaw; Impulse from the Kielce University of Technology; KNR Team from the Warsaw University of Technology; Raptors from the Lodz University of Technology; Legendary Rover Team from Rzeszów University of Technology; PCz Rover Team from the Czestochowa University of Technology have been qualified for participation in the Mars Rovers Challenge University Rover Challenge 2018.

95 design teams participated in the qualifying rounds for the competition this year. The jury qualified 36 most interesting solutions from the USA (11 teams) Canada and Poland (6 teams). In addition, teams from India, Bangladesh, Great Britain, Egypt, Mexico, Australia and Turkey will take part in the finals.

The University Rover Challenge (URC) is the most prestigious international competition for Mars rovers built by students and it takes place in the Utah desert. This year the competition will last from May 31 to June 2.
