Start-Up Academy at the University of Bialystok

The University of Bialystok invites primary school pupils of the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades from the Podlasie Voivodeship to participate in the first “Start-Up Academy” project. The applications can be send from October 1 to October 12, 2018 – informs Katarzyna Dziedzik, a spokesman of the Białystok University.

Classes will be conducted by scientists from two university faculties (economics and management as well as historical and sociological faculty), qualified trainers and entrepreneurs.

The summing up of the project will be a gala, during which students will present their ideas of start-ups to business representatives, investors, innovation experts – says Dr. Magdalena Owczarczuk from the Faculty of Economics and Management, project coordinator.
The project will last two years, in total 144 students are planned to take part in it. The University has received funding for its implementation – over 343,000. PLN within the program of the National Center for Research and Development “University of the Young Explorer”.
