From September 3 to 9, 2018, the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm organizes the Airplane Navigation Polish Championship in the senior and junior categories. The organizer of the championship is the Chełm High School with the participation of the Polish Aeroclub.

Professor Dr Eng Arkadiusz Tofil, Rector of the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm, said that the appropriate infrastructure owned by the university and its experience in the organization of air events will contribute to ensuring that the competition is carried out at the highest level with proper security.

The sponsor of the competition is the largest charter airline in Poland – Enter Air, which financially supports the team of the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm. This is the next stage of cooperation between the university and the airline, which has so far resulted in recruitment for the position of a pilot among students.
