Student of the Silesian University of Technology wins a scholarship of New Technologies for Girls

Nikola Beblik, student of the first year of biomedical engineering at the Silesian University of Technology, received a scholarship of the fourth “New Technologies for Girls” program, implemented by Intel and the Perspektywy Educational Foundation.

The “New Technologies for Girls” program is a response to a minimal presence of female scientists in the area of new technologies. According to different approaches, the share of women in the IT industry is up to 15 percent. The creators of the program, the Intel company and the Perspektywy Educational Foundation, have decided to offer their female graduates and students a support program for their individual development.

Scholarship holders will receive various substantive and financial support. They will be mentored by experienced Intel employees. They will also receive a scholarship of 12,000. gross PLN, which will cover part of their expenses during the studies.
