Students of Gdansk University of Technology awarded in the “Student-Inventor” competition

The Polish Patent Office summarizes the 8th national competition “Student-Inventor”. The award was received by Zuzanna Bielan from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Gdańsk University of Technology. Adam Dąbrowski from the mechanical faculty received the Rector’s Award of the Kielce University of Technology in the same competition. The special diploma was also awarded by the Gdańsk University of Technology.

Zuzanna Bielan was awarded for her method of obtaining a layered magnetic photocatalyst. The special prize of the Rector of the Kielce University of Technology was awarded to Adam Dąbrowski for the method of measuring the fluctuation of the heat flux from the tested surface – especially in the case of the space rocket’s cover.

Rector of the Kielce University of Technology also awarded a diploma to the Gdańsk University of Technology “for the participation of university students in the National “Student-Inventor” Competition, which is to support the culture of innovation and the idea of intellectual property protection in the academic youth environment”.
