Students of the Poznan University of Technology take the second place in the competition for the skyscraper of the future

Students of the architecture faculty at the Poznan University of Technology – Klaudia Gołaszewska and Marek Grodzicki, took the second place in the prestigious international competition, Evolo 2019, for innovative skyscrapers of the future.

The Skyscraper Competition has been organized since 2006 and it is one of the most prestigious architectural competitions of skyscrapers. It allows to emerge outstanding ideas that define the design of skyscrapers by implementing new technologies, materials, programs, aesthetics and spatial organization along with research on globalization, flexibility, adaptability and the digital revolution.

The concept of Poznan students, airscraper uses the effect of the chimney draft. It sucks the air at the surface of the earth, cleansing it through a complex filtration system. The tower is 800 meters high and has 60 meters in diameter. It consists of 3 inlet; solar and green modules to realise a specific task within one integrated functional system.
