Students of the Silesian University of Technology win the competition Student Nobel 2019

Kamil Książek, student at the Silesian University of Technology, is one of the eight laureates of the Student Nobel 2019 competition organized since 2009 by the Independent Students Association under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Kamil Książek is a student of the mathematics department of the Gliwice University of Applied Sciences. He became the laureate of the competition in the Information Technology category. The scientific interests of the laureate include optimization issues – in particular, heuristic algorithms. He is also interested in machine learning and, more recently, in the Internet of Things.

Other students of the Gliwice university qualified for the final of the competition in the Information Technology category include Aleksandra Krawiec, Anna Strzoda and Bartosz Grabowski from the applied mathematics department.
