The “Robocik” Scientific Association of Automation and Robotics won the Pro Juvenes competition organized by the Students’ Parliament of Poland. Students of the Wrocław University of Technology were appreciated for their creative activities and innovative projects.

The main project of the young constructors is the autonomous underwater robot. In August 2018, it took part in the RoboSub competition in California, reaching the semi-finals and winning a special prize for the best computer simulation in the Unity environment. Students announce the construction of a new version of the robot to fight for top positions in the competition.

The “Robocik” has been operating at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering since 1997 and is one of the oldest at the university. The student projects included sorting industrial robot using artificial neural networks, a vision system for work, as well as an autonomous vehicle model.
