Success of robots from the Wrocław University of Technology in Beijing

Three medals – gold, silver and bronze – were won by students of the Wrocław University of Technology at the international RobotChallenge 2018 competition in Beijing. Nearly 1.5 thousand robots from 30 countries competed in China.

The Freestyle Gold medal was won by the social robot Emys Pro from FLASH Robotics within the “Robotic Checkerboard” program. The silver medal in the same competition was awarded to the SpiceX 3000 realized by students from KoNaR, Revir 3D and Rapid Troopers.

The bronze medal in Line Follower Enhanced competition was won by Chen Shi robot. Its task was to pass as quickly as possible the route, with various obstacles to be avoided by the robot.

The RobotChallenge competition organized since 2004 is one of the largest and most prestigious events of this type in the world.
