Four solutions submitted by the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology were awarded in the INTARG competition, which was organized as part of the International Fair of Inventions and Innovations of INTARG in Katowice’s Spodek hall.

The method of processing waste and laminated foils separated in the refining process from multi-material containers for liquid food of the TetraPak type has won the gold medal, the President’s Cup of the Jury and the Cup of the President of the Polish Chamber of Ecology.
The uFluidix microfluidic device and the way of conducting 3D cell cultures in conditions reflecting the in vivo environment won the gold medal and the special prize of the Croatian Association of Inventors.

The nano-structured fibrous composite material with a polymer matrix with a reinforcing phase and the method of its production has won the gold medal, and the synthetic intra-thorax esophagus prosthesis and the way it is made won platinum medal of the INTARG competition.
