On 7th December the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice invites participants to the scientific symposium entitled “Law day for climate protection and climate management 2018” (“Advancing Law & Governance Contributions to Climate Action under the Paris Agreement”), which is one of the events accompanying the climate summit.

The symposium will be attended by world-renowned representatives of science and international institutions working for climate protection. During the conference, prizes for the best student essay on legal climate protection will be presented.

The organizers announce a discussion on ensuring synergy for capacity building and cooperation in the field of climate change research and exchange of knowledge, ideas and experiences between specialists representing various areas of law and management – so that it will be possible to develop an effective implementation model of the Paris Agreement.
