Team of the University of Economics in Katowice leads in the Global Management Challenge

The team of the University of Economics in Katowice “GoldenEye”, is the first Polish representation for 9 years, which entered the international finals of the 39th Global Management Challenge – the largest business simulation in the world.

A total of 19 teams from 17 countries participated in the world finals in Yekaterinburg. The team “GoldenEye” of Damian Podgórski, Justyna Najda (students) and Marcin Szewczyk (graduate), finally took the 7th place.

The Global Management Challenge is the world’s largest business simulation and an extensive strategic game. The project has been organized since 1980. The initiative has already gathered over half a million participants worldwide. The participants of the simulation are managers, specialists, young talents, also students with an economic profile, who play the virtual company board, and their task is to manage the company to achieve the best financial result on the virtual market.
