Three researchers of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław receive scholarships of the Polish Science Foundation

Three researchers from the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences received scholarships in the Start program organized by the Foundation for Polish Science. The winners are Dr Kamila Pawłuszek-Filipiak and Grzegorz Bury from the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics and Marta Sylla from the Institute of Spatial Management.

All three scientists received research grants – Eng. Grzegorz Bury for determining the precise orbits of GNSS satellites based on combined solutions and on laser and microwave observations, Dr Kamila Pawłuszek-Filipiak for landslide research based on aerial laser scanning, and Marta Sylla for a project on ecosystem services in the context of environmental and economic accounts.

The START program is the oldest scholarship program in Poland for the best young scientists of all fields of science. Winners can receive an annual scholarship of 28 thousand PLN, which can be used for any purpose.
