Universities from Warmia and Mazury join the European Network of Regions Cooperation in Research and Innovation

The State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Elbląg together with the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn joined the European Network of Regions Cooperation in Research and Innovation (ERRIN). The agreement on this matter was signed by Prof. Zbigniew Walczyk – rector of the PWSZ, Prof. Ryszard Górecki – rector of UWM and Dr Gustaw Marek Brzezin – marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

The European Network of Regions Cooperation in Research and Innovation was founded in 2011. It is a non-profit association which operates under Belgian law. It currently brings together over 130 different organizations from 22 European countries. The network supports regional cooperation in research and innovation. It provides members with the opportunity to share project ideas, best practices, and personal contacts. The result is a rapid exchange of knowledge for the benefit of all partners. The network is involved in projects financed by the European Union.
