University of Life Sciences in Lublin adapts to the challenges of Science 2.0

The University of Life Sciences (UP) in Lublin has started the implementation of the new project “Life Sciences MIT program to adapt the University of Life Sciences in Lublin to the challenges of Science 2.0”. The program was developed by the UP Science Center in Lublin and its budget is over PLN 7.7 million. Activities planned in the project will be implemented until June 20, 2023.

The main goal of the project is to increase the efficiency of resource utilization and the potential of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin towards ordering and strengthening the university management system, increasing education effectiveness with particular emphasis on the needs of the economy and the labor market.

As part of the project, the creation of a new field of study “Veterinary Analytics”, adaptation of the education program in the innovative field “Biocosmetology” to socio-economic needs, modification of the education program at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the field of Veterinary Medicine, implementation of the Competence Development Program for students of the Faculty of Biology, Animal Sciences and Bioeconomy, implementation of the Competence Development Program of students and research and teaching staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, effective use of university resources are planned.
