University of Opole receives over PLN 29 million for investments

The University of Opole received more than PLN 29 million in funding for investment purposes. Money was delivered to the Opole university in the form of State Treasury bonds handed by undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, Marcin Ociepa.

The government subsidy will be earmarked for the construction of a new large teaching facility for IT specialists, along with equipment and a laboratory of new information technologies.

– It will be built on our plot at ul. Oleska, where we are also planning to build a sports hall and a canteen – said the rector of the University of Opole, Prof. Marek Masnyk. He added that the project work on the investment will begin next year.
