University of Opole receives specialist ambulance simulator

14.10.2019

The simulator of a specialist ambulance with full medical equipment was purchased by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Opole. It is part of the equipment of the university’s Multi-Profile Medical Simulation Center.

Medical simulation has become the standard of teaching at medical universities. Teaching with this method is a modern educational process using medical educational equipment, ranging from simple trainers for learning individual medical procedures to advanced phantoms and patient simulators, faithfully reflecting man and their parameters.

In addition to the ambulance, the Center currently provides a room ALS (Advanced Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support), a Laboratory of Science of Technical, Surgical and Nursing Skills – serving as low fidelity rooms and a Clinical and Nursing Room as a high fidelity room.
