The Department of Slavic Languages ​​and the Scientific Society of Russian Culture at the University of Opole, the Opole Voivodeship Department of the Poland-East Cooperation Association and the Opole Lama Association are inviting participants to the conference “Art as a mirror of the Russian soul” on March 25.

The aim of the conference is to popularize knowledge of Russian art and create a forum for wider discussion. The organizers encourage to share their research in the field of film, music, theater, literature and fine arts.

The proposed conference issues include: the image of Russian reality (man towards the world, social reality, everyday life, vision and attitude to history and culture); the mysterious Russian soul – issues of mentality in works of culture; analysis of the achievements of contemporary art creators in Russia; currents in contemporary Russian art; dialogue with tradition and new phenomena in culture; perception of Russian art in the world; Russian art and other fields of science.
