University of Rzeszów to launch the Medical Simulation Center

On February 20, 2020, the University of Rzeszów (UR) will hold the official opening ceremony of the UR Medical Simulation Center.

The Medical Simulation Center is part of the College of Medical Sciences of the University of Rzeszów and is located at ul. Warszawska 26a in the former building of the Institute of Physiotherapy.

Thanks to subsidies from the city of Rzeszów and the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodship, the facility has been adapted and equipped with modern medical, training and audio-video equipment as part of projects co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development “SIMhealth – 21st century nursing and midwifery. The development of practical training of Nurses and Midwives using the Monoprofile Center for Medical Simulation at the Medical Faculty of the University of Rzeszów” and “WCSM – medical education using the Center of Medical Simulation – the development program of the Medical Faculty of the University of Rzeszów.”
