The project of the University of Silesia (University of Silesia) “ProspectUS – the concept of strengthening the research position” has received over 910 thousand PLN from the call of the Minister of Science and Higher Education “Strategy of Excellence – a research university”. The money will be used to carry out R&D to develop a long-term university strategy.

The activities will serve to increase the international recognition of the university’s academic activities, develop research cooperation with foreign research centers, improve the quality of education of students and PhD students, as well as manage the university and increase the number of obtained grants for research.

The aim of research and analysis is to identify areas that will strengthen the status of the University of Silesia as a research university. On this basis, a development concept will include the deepening of cooperation with the economic and social environment of the university and strengthening the potential of the university and the newest changes – for example the new law on higher education and science.
