The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń will carry out the project “International scholarship exchange of PhD students and academic staff” and will receive 750 thousand PLN for its implementation from the PROM Program of the National Academic Exchange Agency.

The aim of the project is to develop university internationalization and improve the quality of education at third degree studies. Within its framework, the participation of foreign PhD students and lecturers at the summer school in 2019 will be funded. The interdisciplinary subject of the school will include astrochemistry, quantum chemistry and precise spectroscopy – dynamically developing scientific fields.

In addition, PhD students’ trips to foreign conferences and research internships will be financed. There are also planned visits of PhD students from abroad. The beneficiaries of the project, selected through a competition, will be physicists, astronomers, chemists, mathematicians, computer scientists, cognitivists and psychologists.
