Jury of the Award of the first Rector of the University of Lodz, announced the sixth Professor Tadeusz Kotarbiński’s competition. Works in the humanities sciences can be submitted by scientific institutions from all Poland, until April 3, 2020. The author of the winning work will receive PLN 50,000 for further research.

The Jury of the Competition will choose the best humanities works in Poland. Publication can be submitted by the faculties of the best universities in Poland and the institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, academic publishers, leading private universities, as well as the rectors of Polish universities.

Over 280 works have already been submitted in five years. -When the University of Lodz decided to create a competition five years ago, it had information about the problems of the humanities science and its crisis in Poland. So it wanted to show the excellent humanities works created at Polish universities and institutions. And I think it succeeded – says Prof. Antoni Różalski, Rector of the University of Lodz, Chairman of the Competition Chapter.
