“Warsaw Legends” on the Radio of the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński

The Development Foundation of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw established cooperation with the National Center for Culture in the implementation of the project called “Warsaw Legends: a radio play on the base of legends written by Artur Oppman”.

As the University of Warsaw emphasizes, the aim of the project is to popularize and save from oblivion in the minds of young people in Warsaw legends, through their attractive arrangement in the form of radio dramas.
The collection of radio plays is based on Artur Oppman’s “Warsaw Legends”: Mermaid, Basiliscus and Golden Duck. The project is addressed mainly to young people and students of Warsaw universities and people interested in the history of Warsaw. It will be realized in the studio of Radio UKSW and recorded by journalists and students of UKSW journalism.

The first radio play UKSW will be broadcast on February 18, 2019 at 18.00 via the website www.radio.uksw.edu.pl.
