Warsaw University of Technology students winning SAE Aero Design in California

Students from the Interfaculty Scientific Circle SAE Aero Design, operating at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering of Warsaw University of Technology, took the two first places, one second and three thirds in international SAE Aero Design competition for students involved in the design and construction of unmanned aircraft.

Warsaw students took part in all three competition classes: Regular, Micro and Advanced. They were invincible in the Regular class – they won the general classification and classification of flights. In addition, they took the second place in the flight classification and the third place in the overall Micro class classification, and in the Advanced class they took the third place in the flights and the third in the total score.

The SAE Aero Design competition lasted from 5 to 7 April 2019 and took place in Van Nuys, California.
