World Brain Days

For several years, World Brain Days have been celebrated in March. Also this year, Polish universities, institutions and scientific societies are involved in this project.

Held in Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot, the event will be devoted to the expanding of knowledge about the brain. On March 16-17, the Faculty of Biology of the University of Gdańsk organizes a series of lectures, workshops and laboratory demonstrations to bring the knowledge about the structure and functioning of the brain, as well as to familiarize with the neurobiologists, neurosurgeons and psychologists.
In turn, in Krakow, on March 12-18 the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University provides a series of lectures on the functioning of the brain and its diseases.

Later, at University of Rzeszów, on March 14,  an open lecture will be held by Dr Paweł Balcerak from the Institute of Philosophy titled “Brain and Mind. Is a man more than a body? ”
