World-renowned Canadian scientists to give lectures at the Gdańsk Medical University

Professor Philip F. Halloran, international expert in the field of transplantology and nephrology from the Nephrology Clinic of the University of Alberta in Edmonton, head of the Alberta Transplant Applied Genomics Center and Dr. Konrad Famulski, cooperating with him, will deliver lectures at the Medical University of Gdańsk on September 19.

Professor Halloran will give a lecture “Molecular analysis of transplant biopsies: insights into mechanisms of disease” and Dr. Famulski “The remarkable versatility of the molecular signature of acute kidney transplant injury.”. Both researchers will deliver their lectures in the conference room of the Nephrology, Transplantology and Internal Diseases Clinic.

Professor Phillip F. Halloran is the author of numerous publications in the field of transplantology and immunology. Currently, he deals with new methods of molecular diagnostics of transplanted kidney pathology. In 2016, he was recognized as “the most influential personality in the field of transplantology in the last 25 years”.
