Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences organizes specialized workshops as part of the project “People for Nature – Nature for People. Coexistence instead of competition in the Lower Silesian Natura 2000 areas.” The workshops will be conducted by experienced scientists, specialists and trainers.

The aim of the project is to popularize and shape pro-ecological attitudes, raise public awareness of the need to protect the most valuable areas of biodiversity conservation, present the heritage and natural diversity of Poland on the example of the Lower Silesian Voivodship, as well as education in the areas of protected areas.

The themes of the May workshops in Krośnice, Kowary and Bukowiec are estimating the value of the environment using the concept of valuation of ecosystem services in the Natura 2000 areas and assessment of environmental impact within the Natura 2000 areas.
