Wrocław University of Science and Technology students to educate about coronavirus as part of the StopFakeNews campaign

22.05.2020

Biotechnology students at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology joined the nationwide StopFakeNews campaign. Members of the Bio-Top Scientific Club have created a special form to contact them and get reliable, scientifically proven answers to questions about coronavirus.

– During the prevailing pandemic, when “fake news” are beginning to be considered scientific truth and conspiracy theories are true, we come to the rescue. Together with the best specialists from our faculty, we will try to dispel any doubts – declare students from Bio-Top Scientific Club.

Students follow the latest scientific reports to provide only verified information, but also verify it. They have received substantive support from scientists from the Faculty of Chemistry including: Prof. Ewa Żymańczyk-Duda (Vice Dean for Student Affairs), Prof. Andrzej Ożyhar (dean of the faculty) and Dr Beata Greb-Markiewicz (guardian of the Bio-Top Club).
