The 27th Siemens and Warsaw University of Technology Prize Competition, aimed at supporting the development and achievements of students and young Polish scientists, is starting. The slogan of this year’s event is: “Data for the environment”.

Projects that aim to improve the environmental indicators of Polish industry can be submitted to the Competition until 31 January 2023.

“The projects should exploit the potential of the huge amount of data available to modern factories and industry as such. Their in-depth analysis should identify new solutions to help increase production efficiency while reducing the environmental burden. The possibilities are plenty: reducing the carbon footprint, reducing the use of raw materials, reducing waste or improving energy efficiency. I am convinced that the participants will rise to the challenge”, says Maciej Zieliński, President of Siemens Polska.

The prize pot for the Competition is PLN 50,000. The winning team will receive PLN 25,000, second place winners will receive PLN 15,000 and third place winners will receive PLN 10,000.
