Ukrainian students of Adam Mickiewicz University receive the Jan Kulczyk scholarships

14.04.2020

On Friday, April 3, the jury of the Jan Kulczyk Scholarship chose the winners – 50 students of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (UAM), citizens of Ukraine. The jury deliberated remotely for the first time in history.

Winners will receive 3 thousand PLN. Due to the pandemic, the jury modified the scholarship payment rules. The previous tradition was to transfer the scholarship after the awarding ceremony.

– Kulczyk Foundation and the UAM Foundation, which supports the entire process, have taken steps to ensure that the scholarship payment time is as short as possible. Students from Ukraine, the largest group of foreign students in Poland and also at the Adam Mickiewicz University are important to us and we want them to know that we do not forget about them at this difficult time – says Prof. Beata Mikołajczyk, Vice-Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University.
