A researcher from Krakow becomes a member of the Board of the Israel Studies Association

Dr Joanna Dyduch, from the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of International and Political Studies has been elected a member of the Board of the Association of Israel Studies.

The Israeli Studies Association is an international, interdisciplinary scientific association promoting academic research on contemporary Israel. The organization is registered in the United States. It cooperates with American and Israeli academic centers, including: Brandeis University, University of Illinois, University of Maryland and Michigan State University. In 2020, it had approximately 500 members.

Dr Joanna Dyduch works at the Institute of the Middle and the Far East of the Jagiellonian University. Her research interests concern Israeli and European studies. She is the author of many publications on foreign policy and international relations in theoretical and practical terms, including the monograph “Europeanization of Polish foreign policy in the perspective of structural realism” and the book “Polish-Israeli relations in 1990-2009. From normalization to strategic partnership”.
