A startup operating at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park Gdynia merged with a Hungarian company

The Software Development Academy startup operating at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park Gdynia has merged with the Hungarian company Codecool. The merger creates Central Europe’s leading digital skills and IT staffing company in the region.

The new company will have 300 employees, 17 digital re-skilling paths, a network of 1,600 mentors. The combined capabilities of the two companies will offer education, upskilling and retraining to individuals, companies and government entities.

The post-merger company will be present in 8 countries – Poland, Romania Austria Czech Republic, Estonia and Albania, as well as Hungary and Slovakia. It is expected to train up to 20,000 people per year, including employees of almost 400 global and local brands from the region. The company’s partners include Accenture, Microsoft, Motorola, Morgan Stanley, Ericsson and Vodafone.
