AGH University of Science and Technology to co- create the European Space University

The AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow together with universities from Germany, France, Luxembourg and Sweden will create the European Space University – said Prof. Jerzy Lis, rector of AGH.

AGH UST Rector informed about it during the panel “Transformation of universities: the future of Polish universities”, which was held as part of the congress Impact’20 Connected Edition driven by Metropolia GZM.

It is the result of the victory of a consortium called “European Space University for Earth and Humanity” UNIVERSEH, including AGH University of Science and Technology, University of Toulouse (France), Luxembourg (Luxembourg), Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf (Germany) and the Technical University of Luleå (Sweden) in the European Commission competition “European Universities”.

International cooperation in the field of space research is currently one of the research priorities. This research project is designed to expand knowledge in the field of space technology – said the rector of AGH.
