Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between Poland and the USA

On April 23, 2018, the government of the Republic of Poland and the government of the United States signed an agreement in Washington between on mutual scientific and technical cooperation. On behalf of the Polish government, the agreement was signed by Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education.The Polish delegation included also Jadwiga Emilewicz, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology, Adam Bielan, Deputy Speaker of the Senate and Piotr Dardziński, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education.

– Our visit on such high level with such a broad formula demonstrates that Polish-American relations are very good – said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin.

The agreement is to strengthen the scientific and technical cooperation of Polish scientists, scientific entities and executive agencies such as the National Center for Research and Development, the National Science Center and the National Academic Exchange Agency with American partners. It will apply for 10 years.
