Ambulance and car simulators at the Center for Medical Simulation in Poznań

Researchers of the Medical Simulation Center of the Medical University in Poznań created the ambulance and car simulators. It will provide the full mapping of the work environment for future doctors and paramedics.

The ambulance simulator is a faithful copy of real ambulances adapted to working conditions at the Simulation Center. The driver’s cabin is cut, the medical compartment with the Venetian mirror to let the lecturer watch the work of the rescue team. In addition to the ambulance, there will be a real passenger car, in which special emergency mannequins of the weight of an adult person will be placed, enabling to practice the medical procedures in traffic accidents.

Simulation equipment is implemented with the help of European funds under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development. The co-financing value exceeds PLN 16 million.


Innovations Medicine and biotechnology
